HSNDS factory inaugurates power plant in Lahore, Pakistan
Last month, we witnessed the inauguration of a state-of-the-art power plant housed in our manufacturing facility in Pakistan, H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons (HSNDS). Spanning the area of 2,023 sqm, this power house is capable of producing up to five megawatts of electricity (sufficient to run 1,000 homes) to one of our three production sites.
This strategic move aims to address the country’s power distribution issue, which occasionally hinder our production capacity and prompt delivery of relief goods to our clients.
The installation of the state-of-the-art power plant will strategically boost factory operations and will help our 7,000 skilled staff in achieving our optimal production capacity.
During the inauguration, a ribbon cutting ceremony was organized led by Mrs. Bilqees Sarwar, founder of our family-run charity Bilqees Sarwar Foundation, accompanied by Mrs. Afia Farhan and Mr. Muqeet Farhan in behalf of NRS International CEO, Mr. Farhan Sarwar.
“The power plant will play a significant role in enhancing our capability to work more effectively and productively, and we will be able to deliver the products on time,” said Mr. Farhan.
