NRS Relief’s Huggy™ multi-purpose tents dispatched to Ecuador
As part of our Rapid Response Strategy, NRS Relief has started supplying core relief items to our clients, who are working around the clock to deliver aid to the regions hardest hit by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Ecuador.
The earthquake that struck Ecuador’s Pacific Coast has left thousands of people homeless, making them vulnerable to dirty drinking water and diseases. Through our UN and NGO clients, our core relief essentials, including tents, mobile warehouses, tarpaulins, blankets and mosquito nets, are on their way to provide aid for the survivors.
30 Huggy™ 42 tents on their way
As part of the response, our committed team has dispatched 30 pieces of waterproof, rotproof and UV-stabilized Huggy™ 42 multi-purpose tents to a global client who focuses on child rights, working with communities in many countries to alleviate child poverty. The Huggy™ 42 can be used for schooling, storage or temporary shelter purposes.
Temporary learning centers
Our client will focus on keeping children safe and protected as a priority, setting up child-friendly spaces and temporary learning centres where girls, boys and adolescents can relax and take part in playful activities that will help them regain a sense of normality. The child-friendly spaces will also be used to provide training for parents on health and hygiene, sanitation, and safety, as well as security for their children.
