The Evolution of the Huggy Tent Series
The Huggy Tent series has continuously evolved to meet diverse shelter needs, with advancements in key features, usability, and sustainability across its models: the Huggy Tent, Huggy Pro HPT, and Huggy Air Inflatable Tent.
Huggy Tent: The Foundation
The original Huggy Tent established a strong foundation for the series. This lightweight, framed multipurpose tent features an inner tent and is available in 24 m², 42 m², and 72 m² sizes. Its main frame is constructed from aluminium. The outer tent is made from 450–455 g/m² PVC-coated, with a 190 g/m² polyethylene ground sheet. Key features include inclined walls, windows with polyethylene (PE) stripe reinforcements, and a single centre door. It boasts waterproof, rot-proof, UV-stabilised, and fire-retardant materials.

Huggy Pro HPT: Enhanced Durability and Usability
The Huggy Pro HPT (High-Performance Tent) marks a significant step forward, designed for enhanced comfort and safety. It utilises a high-tensile steel frame, which is not only stronger but also easy to repair or replace in the field and fully recyclable. Huggy Pro HPT has improved performance in all climates: wind, rain, heat, and high humidity. The chosen materials, standard shade cover and position of windows and ventilation grades provide an optimal internal climate.
This model offers more size options, including 24 m², 36 m², 48 m², 72 m², and 96 m². A key innovation is the straight-wall design, increasing usable floor space by 20%. It also features large 3-layer mesh windows and a 3-door design for multiple entry configurations.
Sustainability and durability are central to the Huggy Pro HPT. Its materials are waterproof, rot-proof, UV-stabilised, fire-retardant, and resistant to common detergents. The tent is fully recyclable and designed for longevity. This model also introduces a built-in shade net for performance in various weather conditions and the ability to combine two units of any size into a single, larger structure.
A wide selection of accessories enhances the functionality and comfort of the Huggy Pro HPT. These include soft and hard flooring options for added insulation and surface protection, solar and electrical lighting kits to ensure visibility and off-grid capability, and both inner liners and winter liners to improve insulation and climate control in extreme temperatures. These optional features enable the tent to be adapted for specific field requirements, increasing its usability in diverse humanitarian and emergency settings. These add ons are also compatible with the Huggy Air modules.

Huggy Air Inflatable Tent: Rapid Deployment and Maximised Interior
The Huggy Air Inflatable Tent represents a leap in rapid deployment and interior optimisation. Incorporating the latest technology in the market, its most distinctive feature is a metal-free, dual-layer inflatable air frame, allowing for quick setup by just two people in approximately 15 minutes for all sizes. Available in 24 m², 48 m², and 72 m² sizes, it maximises interior space with vertical walls. The outer tent and integrated ground sheet are made from 250 g/m² laminated polyethylene (PE).
Beyond its rapid deployment, the Huggy Air prioritises durability and convenience. It features a robust double-layer air frame and roll-up doors, along with a weatherproof hood. Like the Huggy Pro HPT, this model also allows for interconnections of multiple units through a connection module. Available add-ons specific to the HuggyAir include inflator kits, a ceiling net and entrance module, alongside the inner and winter liners, lighting kits and hard flooring available for the Huggy Pro HPT.

With their generous internal space and practical layout, the tents are well-suited for a wide range of uses, including accommodation, nursery, operation rooms, classrooms, living quarters, offices, and warehouses. While both tents offer versatility in their uses, the Huggy Air is ideal for short-term deployments, whereas the Huggy HPT Pro is suited for longer-term applications, providing a more robust solution for extended use.
From its foundational design to the robust Pro HPT and the innovative inflatable Air model, the Huggy series demonstrates a continuous commitment to evolving shelter solutions with a focus on key features, diverse uses, and increasing sustainability.
