About the Enhanced CoP Report 2022
NRS Relief, an active participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), is proud to release its Communication on Progress (CoP) Report for 2022, titled “Sustainable Today, Thriving Tomorrow.” The UNGC, founded on ten principles that cover human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption, has actively promoted a principled approach to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the private sector since its establishment. NRS Relief strategically aligns its operations with these global goals to pave the way for a more sustainable future.
How to Read the Report
In 2023, the United Nations Global Compact introduced an enhanced CoP, focusing on five critical areas: Governance, Human Rights, Labor, Environment, and Anti-Corruption. NRS Relief CoP report offers easy access to detailed information on Principles, Global Reporting Initiatives (GRIs), and SDGs through annexes, with references to relevant sections of the UNGC questionnaire. The comprehensive report covers these five essential areas, further categorized into subsections, including Materiality, Commitment, Prevention, Performance, Remediation, and Reporting. This structure provides stakeholders with transparent and detailed insights into NRS Relief and its manufacturing arm, HSNDS, performance from January to December 2022.

Governance
In the Governance section of our enhanced Communication on Progress report, readers will find our Materiality Assessment, which identifies the crucial elements that influence our decision-making process. Additionally, detailed information on all ISO certifications, corporate policies, and NRS Relief and its manufacturing arm, HSNDS, initiatives are presented.
Human Rights
NRS Relief and its manufacturing arm, HSNDS, are committed to upholding Human Rights Principles with a particular focus on promoting gender equality. Our objectives include achieving balanced representation of women and men and embedding the “Equal Opportunity” principle within the company’s Code of Conduct. The Human Rights sections also highlights the practical integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 8, and 16 into our daily operations.
Labour Rights
In the Labour section delves into crucial topics such as Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring a safe working environment. It highlights our non-discrimination practices that foster fairness and equality. Freedom of Association is respected, allowing employees to join trade unions within our manufacturing arm, HSNDS. Efforts to address Child Labour aim to protect children from exploitation. Collective Bargaining is emphasized, promoting fair wages and conditions in compliance with local laws. The section on Forced or Compulsory Labour underlines our commitment to its eradication.
Environment
NRS Relief and HSNDS are dedicated to protecting water sources, reducing air pollution, minimizing energy waste, conserving forests and biodiversity, and tackling climate change by setting targets and reporting achievements in Section 4, Environment.
Anti-Corruption
In Section 5, NRS Relief and HSNDS outline the scope and effectiveness of our Anti-Corruption Policy, highlighting our zero-tolerance policy supported by proactive risk management and extensive training. Both companies are committed to protecting whistleblowers and implementing robust internal controls. We collaborate with suppliers and third-party entities that align with our principles and shared commitment to integrity and ethical business practices.
