NRS Relief Presents the latest innovation in Multipurpose Shelters at DIHAD 2023
On the occasion of the 19th edition of DIHAD, the largest Humanitarian Aid & Development Event held in Dubai under the theme “Energy and Aid; capitalising on available resources”, NRS Relief showcased the Huggy Pro – HPT 72 as its “Hero Product”, the latest innovation in multipurpose shelters.
This high-performance tent is the culmination of years of development and extensive testing conducted in laboratory settings and real-life scenarios under an innovative product development approach undertaken by UNICEF. Set in the tropical climate of Cotabato, Philippines, in the hot and humid climate of Uganda and in extremely cold weather conditions in Afghanistan, the field tests aimed to assess that the newly developed tents meet the requirements in terms of functionality, logistics, set-up, use and resistance to extreme weather conditions.
For three days, the Huggy Pro – HPT 72 tent played a significant role as a venue for the DIHAD Innovation workshop, providing space for up to 50 participants.
The Huggy Pro – HPT 72, a steel frame structure with its outer cover, shade net , groundsheet and internal partition, was showcased at the DIHAD conference with its latest high-tech addition, the solar lighting kit. The solar lighting kit provides an environmentally sustainable energy source that not only adds an extra level of convenience but also saves on energy bills and reduces your carbon footprint. Installation is incredibly easy, so you can enjoy the benefits of the Huggy Pro – HPT 72 and its accessories in no time.
The Huggy Pro – HPT 72 is a cutting-edge, versatile shelter developed to meet diverse emergency requirements. To read more about Huggy Pro – HPT, please click here.
