Under the overarching theme of “Humanitarian Diplomacy and a Journey to the Future,” DIHAD served as the perfect platform to unveil Huggy Air, a shelter designed for rapid deployment in crisis situations. Attendees at the workshop had the exclusive opportunity to experience firsthand the capabilities of this revolutionary product for rapid deployment during emergencies. Visitors of DIHAD discovered the essence of efficiency and durability with the inflatable tent. Engineered for rapid deployment and seamless repacking, Huggy Air epitomises readiness for every emergency. Crafted from premium materials, these tents guarantee longevity and their operational lifespan is optimised by easy maintenance and storage practices. On the third day of DIHAD, our Business Development and Account Manager, Mohammed Cherchali, took the stage to present at the workshop on “Implementing Circular Economy Principles in Humanitarian Aid Production.” Focusing on internal policies related to sustainability, Mohammed delved into the critical role of sustainability in improving manufacturing processes and product design, with a deep dive into material selection and optimising packaging. As a result of these efforts, the introduction of a new sustainable product line comprising core relief items with a reduced environmental footprint, that not only minimise our environmental impact but also actively promotes sustainable practices within the humanitarian sector.
